Reclaim Your Power Event

Reclaim Your Power Event

Date: Saturday April 26th 12pm - 2pm

Location: 13253 McGregor Blvd. Suite 30 Fort Myers, FL

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month which is why Sarra Lashhab with Healing Loudly LLC is partnering with community resources to host this women’s only empowering event.

What you get to look forward to:

Powerful Speaking Engagement - Sarra Lashhab with Healing Loudly will be speaking about the mindset of reclaiming your power, especially if you have been through a traumatic event. Trauma impacts how people walk around feeling afraid of the world. You deserve to feel safe, powerful, and content in your body. Transformative healing thrives when people feel seen, heard, and understood, so let’s heal loudly together.

Self-Defense Class - After the speaking engagement you will get to go hands on with coaches from New World Defense and Fitness. The coaches will guide you through practical techniques designed to help you build confidence in your body. Self-defense helps people gain a sense of control over your own personal safety. This class is designed of all skill levels. By the end of this session you will feel more prepared on how to protect yourself.

Connecting & Refreshments - Empowerment is not only about strength, it’s also about community. For the remaining part of the hour you will get to connect with other like-minded women a safe and uplifting space. This is your chance to build new friendships or share your journey about reclaiming your personal power. Femcity in SWFL is a great resource for female entrepreneurs wanting to build community. Femcity is assisting with fostering connection between women at this event.

Huge thank you to Ritual Space for donating their space for this event!

Tickets are only $15 and all proceeds will be going to Project Help, the non-profit rape crisis center located in Naples, FL. Project Help Inc. provides free services for victims of violent crimes and has a forensic exam unit on site to collect evidence for criminal sexual assault cases. Funds raised at this event will help support programs for survivors.

I am particularly invested in this non-profit because I volunteered here since I was 15 years old and was employed at Project Help for approximately 6 years as a victim advocate and therapist. They do amazing work with survivors in the community. I am grateful to be in a place to be able to give back to this organization. All of the businesses involved in this event are also donating their time and do not receive any direct financial benefit from providing their services.
